Hi, I’m Joann Bergeron, an award-winning Professional Pet Photographer based in Vernon, BC, in the heart of the beautiful Okanagan Valley.
I specialize in creating heartfelt, lasting dog portraits that capture the unique personality and spirit of your dog in a relaxed, natural setting—images that are as authentic as they are beautiful. I have the privilege of working with clients throughout the Okanagan, including Kelowna and West Kelowna, BC.
Before picking up a camera professionally, I spent 14 years running a busy dog daycare and training centre, working closely with dogs of every breed, size, and temperament. That experience taught me how to read canine body language, earn trust, and create a calm, comfortable space where your dog’s true personality can shine through.
I later followed my creative calling and earned a Diploma in Professional Photography from the Centre for Arts and Technology in Kelowna.
In 2025, I was honored with three Excellence Awards and one Merit Award from The Professional Photographers of Canada's National Image Salon-recognition that reflects not only technical skill but also the genuine connection I build with each dog I photograph.
